A charming village at the foot of the town of Vibo Valentia, directly on the crystal clear blue sea, bordered by white, sandy beaches, that offers impressions of extraordinary beauty.
The possibility to watch the fishermen return into the port and to buy the delicious fish directly from the boats, make Vibo Marina so special and that is why it is one of the most fascinating parts of the province. Here you can still live the traditions and the folklore of the region.
Its port, one of the best equipped in Calabria, is home, not only for merchant ships and yachts, but from here you can also make a fantastic mini-cruise to the nearby Aeolian islands or you can simply decide to spend a day by learning how to fish or to know the best places at the coast and decided to make a trip on a traditional boat to explore the area.
Ideal for new investments, Vibo Marina is also famous for its white sandy beaches equipped with lidos and bars, as well as the many cafes and restaurants that crowd the main street. Every year in August the town celebrates its saint with the traditional procession on the sea.
Distant only 30 minutes from Tropea, one of the most popular destinations in the world, only 10 minutes from the charming town of Pizzo and 30 minutes from the international airport of Lamezia Terme, Vibo Marina is the best base for exploring the wonderful surroundings.

Places to visit: the Castle of Bivona & the archaeological site next to it, the tuna fishery in Bivona currently used as the Sea Museum, the Church of the “Madonna di Pompei”.

Beaches: "Il Fortino" with its huge expanse of sand and the crystal sea, "Timpa Janca and other lovely bays, which are situated at the foot of a cliff,  where the sea ground is alternated with shallow reefs and sand, while the beaches are exclusively sandy.

I had wonderful holidays here, went to stromboli and the other islands, done a diving course in tropea, relaxed, had fun in the bars, enjoyed relaxing in the squares eating pizza and drinking wine. Took the train and ferry to sicilly. went to markets, shopping centres you can do plently of stuff. the place comes alive in august with fests in the streets, plently of little towns in surrounding areas, loads to see. the scenery is fabolous. Suitable for families.
